SKYRIM HOW TO USE FNIS PCEA 2 MODS
I installed PCEA2 and then tried modifying the included starting animation folders and replacing them with animations from other mods E.g. voila, your hand selected animations will all show in game.Ross67344 wrote: Hi fore, wanted to ask if it was possible to modify/delete the animation folders included with PCEA2. So throw in this folder all the animations you want to take priority, run FNIS. The folder that starts with "9" will have final authority. It will be something like "8_PrettyFemaleIdles".

Just open up the mod in windows, then find the folders that start numbered 0-9. NOTE: If you use loose files and MO, you can move the replacer order around, or even hand select animations from other mods. Again, if you load up multiple animations with identical specific animations, the highest priority (if using MO and loose files, then lowest in the left pane) animation will play in game.

Even if you do select both though, the animations in the higher mod that DO NOT have counterparts in the lower mod will still play.)Ģ.) Any animation mod you have in your load order OUTSIDE of PCEA2 will apply to everyone else. If "Immersive Animations" changes the same ones, then whichever one is lower in the MCM will take precedence if you select them both. On the other hand, the "swordsmanship" animation probably changes all the 1-handed and 2-handed sword animations. Same goes for "Jump Animations." Selecting both of these probably won't conflict as they probably don't change the same animations. (For example, I am guessing "Pretty female idles" only change, you guessed it, the female idle animations. sprint.hkx, etc.) So, if you select multiple replacers in the PCEA2 MCM, all the animations will play save for those which have duplicates, then only the animation from the lowest replacer in the MCM will play. However, remember this only applies if two or more mods share the same specific animation (e.g.

I want to do a "Maxed Out Plugin Count" playthrough and I'm in the planning phase right now so much help would be appreciated :)ġ.) FNIS PCEA2 is setup such that animations lower in the order will override animations above them.

So PCEA2 works so that the animations you install through it are only applied on the PC.īut what if I want to install animation replacers for all of the other NPCs but still have my own unique animations? I am using MO2 so maybe I just have to put PCEA2 below "x" animation replacer? Would that work? So my first question is:ġ.) Which animation replacers can I have activated simultaneously and which ones conflict with each other?ĭid fore fix them so that they ALL work if activated all at once? Or not? Do some of the replacers change the same animations?ĭefinitely the Jump Animations and Pretty Female Idles do different things so that's obvious but what about the extensive ones like Mystic Knight, Immersive Animations, and Magiska? I know Magiska and Mystic Knight both replace magic animations but again, did fore do some magic to make both work together?Ģ.) If I want to install animation mods for everyone else, how would I do it? So FNIS PCEA2 comes with 8 replacers (as follows):Īll of the mod pages link to LE but I'm pretty sure fore converted them all to work with SSE for FNIS PCEA2.
